Geared on achieving a ‘shinier and brighter CvSU’ in the coming years, the university is set to receive additional funding under the Republic Act 11936 or General Appropriations Act (GAA) for Fiscal Year 2023 to sustain more projects in the healthcare and medical field and support the institutionalization of Futures Thinking Initiatives.
Through the steadfast support of Senator Pia S. Cayetano, Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Sustainable Development Goals, Innovation, and Futures Thinking and the Vice Chair of the Senate Committee on Finance, the university will be able to empower its research, extension, and instruction to be more innovative and excellent in its endeavor.
CvSU will receive a budgetary increase for locally-funded projects listed below to be implemented this year amounting to a total of P 888,663,000.00:
